Documenting Key Takeaways

The Takeaways tab is available in the Report section of an opportunity. It provides a place to record the themes surfaced throughout the investigation and learning meeting. Click into the field to begin editing.

Think of themes as the topics of interest that surfaced throughout the investigation:*

  • What surprised you?

  • What do you think others should know more about?

  • What is shared among other incidents?

Throughout an investigation, it’s expected for your themes to grow and change as you learn more and answer new and different questions. You can use the Takeaways section to add or update themes as you investigate, or track your emerging themes in notes, distill them as you prepare for the learning review, and capture them in Takeaways once they’ve been discussed in the meeting.

The text field is markdown supported, we like to use bullet points here to separate out each takeaway.

Using Jeli Templates for Takeaways

📣 Note that you can use Jeli Templates in the Markdown text field in Takeaways. Learn more about setting up Jeli Templates. See image below for an example!
