Getting set up in Jeli

Welcome to Jeli.io! You're one step closer to getting more out of your incidents, and learning from them. Follow the steps below if you are a new Jeli customer, taking Jeli for a test drive using our free tier, or if your organization already has a Jeli account.

Sign up for Jeli

📣 Only follow this step if your organization has not created an account with Jeli or if this is your organization's first time trialing Jeli. If your organization already has a Jeli account please skip to Logging into Jeli.

1) Create your Jeli account

Go to https://app.jeli.io/signup and follow the prompts to create a Jeli account. This flow works for paid and free trial customers.

📣 Free trial users can only sign up using Slack or a Google Workspace account at this time, but we are working on adding more options in the future! We do offer Okta SSO for Enterprise accounts. Reach out to support@jeli.io or chat with us to get started.

2) Follow the prompts to get onboarded

You can check out our Jeli Demo environment to learn more about how to use Jeli for incident analysis. In the Demo environment you'll have access to a product walkthrough, information on how to use Jeli's Narrative builder for investigations, and be able explore your data with Jeli's Learning Center.

After you check out Jeli Demo toggle out of the demo site and back into your production site to setup your integrations.

3) Add your integrations

Jeli can be used for both incident response via Jeli's incident response Slackbot and incident analysis via the Jeli web app. Add the integrations in your current tech stack to streamline your processes and make it even easier for responders and investigators to coordinate and communicate during the incident, and run a retrospective after the incident.

  1. Navigate to Jeli's integrations by going to Settings > Integrations or click this link to go to the integrations page.

  2. Click the integration you need and click "Connect" and follow the prompted instructions

We recommend connecting Jeli to Slack first as you'll need this for both incident response and incident analysis features.

4) Customize Jeli (Optional)

📣 Only Admin can manage Jeli settings. Please contact your Admin to gain access or have settings adjusted.

Incident Response

From Settings > Incident Response you can configure Jeli's IR bot to align with your team's processes and terminology. Click here to get started.

Incident Analysis

From Settings > Opportunities you can add in Tag Types to help identified related opportunities, and you can configure Templates to make it easier for investigators to write their executive summaries and key take-aways. Click here to get started.

Logging into Jeli

You’re now ready to start using Jeli! We recommend you spend some time playing around with the tool. Explore, experiment, mess around with it! Don’t worry, you can always delete the test opportunities you create while you’re getting familiar with the tool.

Log into app.jeli.io to get started on your first investigation of an opportunity!
