Configure Incident Types

In your Jeli Settings go to "Incident Response", then select the "Incident Type" Tab. Now you can add any incident type your team needs!

Add Incident Types

Select the Add type button located in the upper right corner of the Types configuration page, and provide a name and short description of the type of incident being defined to help users know when this type applies.

πŸ“£ The default Incident Type is called Default. This type can be modified, but not deleted.

Edit Incident Types

Select the three-dot context menu for the type you would like to edit, and select Edit.

Modify the type and select Update to save your changes.

Archive Incident Types

  1. Select the three-dot context menu for the type you would like to edit, and select Delete.

  2. Confirm you would like to delete this type.

  3. Deleting incident types does not remove the type from existing incidents. Because of this, you are not able to reuse incident type names, keep this in mind when archiving types.

πŸ“£ Types that are actively being used by a workflow cannot be deleted.
