Webhooks allow you to receive notifications with associated data on Jeli events. Want to be updated when a new opportunity is created or an incident updates? You want webhooks.
Webhooks can be found in the Settings section of Jeli.
Creating a webhook
On the webhooks page, click on the button labeled Add webhook to bring up the add webhook modal
Webhook URL: The destination events are sent to, for example, a consumer on your end that is notified when an opportunity is created.
Description: A short summary detailing the webhook
Enabled: Toggle for turning the webhook on/off
Event Type Filtering: Which events you wish to receive from Jeli
Once created, your webhook should be displayed in a paginated list, along with the endpoint events are directed to, the description, whether it’s enabled or not, and an autoincrementing number to keep track of which version you’re currently on. Note: it is not currently possible to rollback to previous versions. There’s also a submenu for updating, testing, and deleting a webhook that can be found by clicking the three dots on the far right side.
Testing a webhook
Want to see your webhook in action, but don’t want to wait for an incident? You can send an event of your choosing to your endpoint to confirm it works.
Editing a webhook
If you need to modify a webhook, the submenu also includes the option to change any of the values for a given webhook. On saving, it will increment the version.
Deleting a webhook
If you need to remove a webhook, the submenu includes the option with a prompt to delete a webhook. Note: This action is not reversible.
